Diastasis Recti Healing

We help you learn how to condition and build strength through your midsection, ensuring proper functioning while developing core stability.

This very common abdominal separation can lead to the bulge that often remains after a woman has had a baby.

The technical term is "Diastasis Recti” and it refers to the separation of the outermost abdominal muscles.

In cases where this occurs, the muscles separate and the connective tissue that joins them stretches sideways. This leads the tissue to become thin and weak. While this is most commonly caused by pregnancy, it can also be attributed to weight gain, or in some cases using improper form while doing abdominal exercises.

Too much force or pressure on the connective tissue can worsen your case of Diastasis Recti but we can help you learn how to condition and build strength through your midsection, ensuring proper functioning while developing core stability.

At Pelvic Floor Secrets we specialize in this form of condition and are more than equipped to assist you in overcoming it. We understand it can be frustrating and in some cases leads to lowered confidence along with image and body issues. It does not have to be this way!

We can work with you on a plan and training module targeted and tailored specifically for your body type. The “baby pooch” can be reduced and removed by the correct targeted work out we will create for you.
