"I have been going to the gym for the last 15 years and it was okay. I would do the average 30-40 minutes of cardio and then hit the line of weight machines to do the toning. This is obviously better than doing nothing however when I hooked up with Nicole it was a whole new level of exercise. She really focuses on working particular areas that you want to handle and you know you've done something when you are done. She is so much fun to be with which has been missing from my workout. I have a musculoskeletal disease that is mild but creates some joint limitations, and more than anything else, an overall insecurity about my body. Her approach was perfect for me. She took into considerations my mental and physical stumbling blocks and made me 10 times stronger without ever making me feel awkward or uncomfortable. This, by far, is probably what I am most grateful for. Without Nicole’s help, I would never have developed the sustainable healthy habits I still have, nor the mentality to approach exercise and stretching with the comfort and confidence I now have.

Nicole will always hold a special place in my heart. Meeting and training with her changed my life, in many ways. I've always been very active and athletic, and I continued through pregnancy and postpartum. When I was 6 years postpartum and training heavily, I started to notice a weakness in my core that I couldn't figure out. A series of fortunate events soon brought Nicole into my life and she quickly discovered that I had a 6-finger abdominal separation (and pelvic floor dysfunction that I had just written off as part of motherhood that Kegels weren't resolving). At first, I was in complete shock and disbelief. I was aware of abdominal separation, but would never have thought that I had it. After a couple of tough days of coming to terms with what was going on in my body, I decided to train with Nicole for 8 weeks. Through awareness and retraining, I began my journey of healing my diastasis (which closed to 2-fingers and became functional) and a whole new way of looking at my health and fitness. I am forever grateful to Nicole and the important work she is doing to educate and empower women.

I started working with Nicole over a year ago, and my first program was for about 3 months. I couldn’t possibly say enough about how much she helped me. Her approach was very whole and focussed on developing sustainable habits that I could incorporate into my lifestyle, both diet advice and exercises I am unintimidated by, so I never felt I had to force myself to do anything - everything was comfortable and enjoyable. Her balance and attention to detail makes me feel safe that everything she shows me is only going to help me. She is a very special trainer and person. Training with Nicole since February 2017 is, without hesitation, the best decision of the year for me. I am turning 40 soon and I hadn’t been to a gym for 20 years when I was introduced to her. I couldn’t run or swim anymore (due to prolapse after my second baby and allergy to chlorine) so I felt I had no choice to go back to the gym if I wanted to keep moving. To be honest, I didn’t have the slightest intention to do personal training, but I completely changed my mind when I met Nicole and heard how she could help me (and there was absolutely NO pressure from her part). Since then, I have been training twice a week, with 30 minutes cardio and 1 hour weights and exercises. I can’t say how much it changed my life! My posture, flexibility and strength have improved dramatically, which is fantastic since I spend a lot of time in front of my computer. Nicole educates me about diet, fitness, and general well being (even essential oils!). I always look forward to our sessions as she is the kindest, most knowledgeable trainer that I know, and we also have a lot of fun! Nicole is incredibly motivated, respectful of everybody’s pace and expectations, and she perfectly understands the needs of women. Nicole, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your help and support!
